Hi, I’m Eliya – A Passionate UI/UX Designer
I have always been interested in design – how it shapes our relationships, creates experiences, and brings ideas to life. My interest in UI/UX design began with a strong desire for creativity and problem solving, which led me to formal teaching and practical experience in the industry.
My journey as a UI/UX designer
The Beginning
My journey as a UI/UX designer began in 2023 when I completed the Google UX Design course, where I gained a solid foundation in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and design thinking. Shortly after, I landed my first internship, where I worked on brand identity and website design for yuvaCracy. This experience gave me the opportunity to explore the intersection of branding and digital experiences, shaping my understanding of user engagement.
Growth
In the year 2024, I worked on a YuvaCracy website redesign project that improved both the visual and functional aspects of the platform. This project further enhanced my ability to identify issues, optimize the user journey, and deliver a seamless experience.
Challenges
Soon after, I began working on one of my most challenging and rewarding projects, PlantyHomes. Over an intensive 8-month design cycle, I worked on four main applications:
- Merchant App – Helping vendors manage inventory and orders.
- User App – Creating an intuitive experience for customers.
- Delivery Partner App – Streamlining order fulfillment.
- Admin Dashboard – A centralized hub for business management.
This project honed my abilities in cross-functional collaboration, scalability, and multi-platform design.
Expanding Horizons
While honing my skills, I had the opportunity to work on a product called Dopular for an American client. The project challenged me to deliver high-quality UI/UX solutions that were adaptable to new workflows, in line with international design standards, and relevant to a global audience.
Where I Am Now
Today, I continue to explore new challenges, constantly learning and growing as a designer. I am passionate about creating meaningful, user-friendly experiences and am always excited to collaborate on projects that push creative boundaries.
