Introduction

Planty Homes set out to simplify the way people buy, sell, and manage plants online. This wasn’t just a single app—it was a complete digital ecosystem built to support four distinct user types. As the lead designer, I was responsible for crafting intuitive, scalable, and visually aligned interfaces for the User App, Merchant App, Rider App, and Admin Dashboard.

From zero to full product blueprint, I worked end-to-end: strategy, wireframes, UI design, systems, and developer handoff.

User App

Overview​

Users can browse plants, pots, and gardening tools from local nurseries on PlantiHomes’ extensive site. The app provides nursery profiles, reviews, and simple options for buying in addition to thorough product descriptions.

In order to support local nurseries and encourage sustainable living, PlantiHomes places a high value on user participation, transparency, and ease of use.

Objective

To create a mobile application that simplifies plant purchasing, highlights nearby nurseries, and enhances the experience for plant lovers.

Goal

1. Create an intuitive mobile application that simplifies the plant purchasing process.
2.Design an interface that highlights the uniqueness of local nurseries.
3. Develop user-friendly order flows to meet the needs of users with varying technical skills.

Creating a platform that enables local plant nurseries to streamline operations and grow their businesses effectively 🌿

The PlantyHomes Merchant App is a powerful tool I designed to help local nurseries and plant sellers expand their businesses by providing an efficient online platform. By connecting them with a growing community of plant enthusiasts, the app enables seamless product listing, order management, and customer engagement, making it easier than ever to sell plants and gardening products online.

Solution​
To address these issues, PlantyHomes introduced a merchant-focused mobile application with features that simplify business operations:

Online Storefront – Merchants can easily list and display their plants with images, descriptions, and prices.

Automated Inventory Management – Real-time stock updates help sellers track product availability.

Seamless Order Processing – Instant order notifications, payment consolidation, and delivery tracking reduce fulfillment time.

Customer Engagement Tools – Features like in-app messaging, promotions, and discounts enhance customer relationships.

Business Analytics – Merchants get insights into top-selling products and customer preferences.

By digitizing plant sales, this app has enabled local nurseries to operate more efficiently and profitably.

Rider App

Delivering greenery with speed and efficiency!

The PlantyHomes Rider App is a seamless solution designed to empower delivery partners by optimizing their workflow and ensuring timely plant deliveries. This app streamlines order assignments, real-time tracking, and route optimization, helping riders efficiently connect local nurseries with plant lovers. With features like order status updates, in-app navigation, and earnings tracking, it provides a smooth and hassle-free experience, making plant delivery faster and more reliable than ever.

⚡️ Goal: 

 

Design a lightweight, focused app that allows delivery agents to complete tasks efficiently and without confusion.

UX Highlights:
  • Daily Tasks View: A simple list of deliveries with tap-to-navigate functionality. Each task includes address, contact, and OTP.

  • Live Tracking: Riders can toggle statuses (Picked, En Route, Delivered), and customers receive real-time updates.

  • Proof of Delivery: Riders must capture a delivery photo and enter an OTP to complete the task.

  • Lightweight UI: Designed to work in low-network areas with offline-first behavior.

Key Features:
  • Task history and earnings per day

  • Integrated Google Maps link

  • Emergency help request button

  • App-lock if OTP is skipped

 

Admin Application

Empowering administrators with a seamless and data-driven platform to manage nurseries, users, and orders efficiently 🌿

As a UI/UX Designer, I was responsible for designing the PlantyHomes Admin Dashboard, ensuring an intuitive and functional experience for administrators. I focused on structuring workflows, optimizing data visibility, and simplifying complex platform operations. My work included conceptualizing the dashboard’s user interface, enhancing usability, and designing custom components that align with the PlantyHomes brand identity.

Build a powerful but human-friendly interface to oversee operations, manage users, and resolve issues at scale.

UX Highlights:
  • Overview Screen: An at-a-glance summary of live orders, active riders, and top-selling plants.

  • User & Merchant Management: Search, filter, ban/suspend users, verify KYC, and view order logs.

  • Dispute Handling: A built-in module to assign issues to customer support with messaging and notes.

  • Performance Insights: Filterable charts showing sales trends, delivery efficiency, and category performance.

  • Manual reassignment of riders

  • Flagged orders & return logs

  • Secure admin login with role-based permissions

  • Export options for reports and audits
